Mexico, February 2020

For this retreat, we headed to the charming shore of Costa Cumana in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, where we stayed in a beachfront 7-bedroom Villa for a week.

Puerto Escondido (the hidden Jem) is a laid-back town on the Pacific Ocean and is considered one of the most important tourist attractions on the Oaxaca coast.

The retreat was our first with an Ayurvedic theme. Many participants were introduced to Ayurveda and its branches. We offered daily workshops on diverse subjects like body constitutions, food combinations, and practical yoga practices.

During their stay, our clients enjoyed healthy meals made by a local chef and daily practices like breathwork, meditation, yoga, fascia release, and Pilates. In addition, the group enjoyed an exciting day trip that included zip lining, hiking, horseback riding, and a hot spring pool.

Banff, October 2021

The retreat in Golden, Banff, was a special one as it happened in October 2021 during the pandemic. A lot had occurred in the previous year, and it was time to seek a new, refreshed start. The perfect place was nature.

We stayed a week in a unique Lodge at the base of the Rocky Mountains.

Most of us experienced Glamping for the first time. The lodge was surrounded by nature and a fantastic landscape. It was a much-needed adventure topped with a new moon fire celebration. The weather was amazing, so we had the chance to hike daily, and some of us made it to the top of God's Peak in Golden.

We offered daily practices like Yoga, Breathwork, meditation, and fascia release as usual.

On our way back to Calgary, we stopped at Lake Louise and Moraine to take in the breathtaking scenery of the Rocky Mountains.

This was indeed a week to remember.

Costa Rica 2024

The retreat took place in the beautiful town of Potrero in the Guanacaste Province in northern Costa Rica from February 17 to 24, 2024. Everyone enjoyed the convenient drive from Liberia International Airport, which took only 50 m to reach our destination.

During that week, the participants had a one-on-one Ayurvedic consultation in which they understood their constitution from an Ayurvedic perspective. This helped them navigate life with a better understanding of what works for them, where boundaries are needed, and how to make room for self-awareness and care in their day-to-day lives.

There are many moving parts in our lives, and we often expend much energy attending to everyone else's needs. In this retreat, the participants attended to themselves and invested in their health and wellbeing.

During their stay, our clients enjoyed three delicious locally sourced meals, fresh juices, and daily practices like breathwork, meditation, yoga, fascia release, group sound bath, and Pilates.

The grand finale of the beautiful week was a private sunset catamaran trip around the entire interior of Flamenco Beach.
